Communication with previous pupil
Pupil 1
”I feel very peculiar to be emailing at all but would like to share my appreciation for the opportunity to attend and for the tutors at that time.
In all my years of education, I have never met tutors and staff as devoted as those at the AP school. I learnt more in my final year of education than I had in the four previous years due to the time and dedication these people made to ensure that people like myself who were struggling in mainstream education still had a chance to earn qualifications and life skills that others achieved with ease. I have the deepest respect and admiration for all of the staff and I appreciate the effort, time and help I received when I attended.
Since leaving the school I have gone on to achieve qualifications in Arboriculture, I have worked as a tree surgeon and an arboricultural consultant and currently work at an agricultural company based in Norwich. I have experience in animal rehabilitation where I have assisted with hand rearing small animals such as hedgehogs and squirrels (please see attached). I am also hoping to study to earn a degree in mycology and prehistory anthropology. These are things I couldn’t have possibly dreamed of achieving at 15 when I started at the school.
I cannot begin to thank you enough for everything that was done for myself and the others attending at that time but I truly am so grateful.”

Nervous for my next chapter of college. I have my final interview next week, it’s high level course so I’m nervous. I wanted to thank all the staff for there support and help but espeically.

It is thanks to the school that XXXX is doing well. When he left his previous school he was told he wouldn’t achieve anything and that his life would come to nothing. Now with the schools support XXXX is now completing his GCSEs and has started military School. We are incredibly proud of his achievements and grateful for the schools support.
